What: Covers how to manage illness and injuries of adults and children in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.
Topics include: First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies and Environmental Emergencies.
Who: Everyone including those that have a duty to respond to emergencies because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.
How: 3 to 3.5 hour hands on class, utilizing the American Heart Associations practice while watching instruction method following the 2005 ECC Guidelines. Passing a written test and practical skills test is required.

Successful participants will receive their Certification Card at the end of the class. The AHA Certification Card is valid for 2 years.
