What: Covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction and AED (automated external defibrillation).
Who: Everyone including those that have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.
How: 3.5 to 4 hour hands on class, utilizing the American Heart Associations practice while watching instruction methodfollowing the 2005 ECC Guidelines. Passing the written and practical tests is required.

Successful participants will receive their Certification Card at the end of the class. The AHA Certification Card is valid for 2 years.
